About the film

With this project, Jakesh embarks upon his roots. Set in the rural areas of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, the film dives into the lives of handloom weavers, where the story told by the fabric is the lifelong experience of the weaver.

It captures the essential reciprocity between the cloth and the artisans, the way fabric and weaver require each other to weave a cloth on the loom.
